provides a number of support services for the Elderly and Disabled and is based in Town Close, Stokesley

Respite Sitting Scheme

 A volunteer sitter gives regular carers a much needed break of up to 3 hours per week in the client’s own home.

Befriending Scheme

A service for lonely & housebound. A volunteer will visit on a regular basis to sit + chat or do light shopping or collect a prescription. Click for leaflet

Listening Tapes

For the visually impaired. An audio tape is sent out once a month full of local news and information.

Lunch Club

Thursdays at Stokesley Town Hall 12.00. £4 for lunch+ dessert with tea/coffee. Ring office to book a place.

Thursday Chairobics

10.30-11.30am Thursdays at Stokesley Town Hall. Exercise to music while seated + make new friends + perhaps go on to lunch!

Tea Dances

Held at the Methodist Church Hall on alternative Thursday afternoons from 1.30 pm to 3.30 pm. Enjoy a cup of tea/coffee during the session.

Friday Afternoon Refreshments

Served in Stokesley Town Hall from 12 noon to 3.30pm. Tea/Coffee/Orange Juice and toasted teacakes are available

The Stream

A dedicated team of volunteers produce The Stream, which is a local publication full of information and interesting articles. It is distributed throughout Stokesley, Great Ayton and outlying villages.
